An amazing blogger friend of mine has recently posted a couple titles that are quite similar to a ditty I was writing, and so, I thought it appropriate to share…

I am a crook…a thief…an intruder.

I am a stalker of night…a voyeur of dreams.

I feed off an energy you can’t see, but breathe.

The thunder of your heart…the filling of your lungs…

Are temptations of life… I take advantage of.

An innocent of crime…but feeder of light…

Your presence gives me sanity and existence of mind. 

I find the tank of my life is filled with the radiance of goodness, a genuine soul.  The un-polluted beauty of nature.  I re-fill, as I stare into the wonder of such light, whether the days are rainy or drenched in sunshine.  We all need that spark to fire us in great times of need, those darkest moments. 

Tears can be falling from my eyes, but there in the shadowed alcove I search and have been blessed to find a greater purpose.  An awareness of something so much more appreciable than what would be, myself.  A need to be for others to see.  There is love, there need not be so much hate.

When sending sunshine through the simplest of gestures we give of ourselves, the selfless extension of understanding that has the possibilities of creating change.  If not for ourselves than perhaps a moment of grace unto another.  In this life we have only each other, in appreciation we have the gift of positive light.
